The Health Museum of Houston - More Than Skin Deep
Even when you live in the 4th largest city in the country you tend to live “small town” on the day to day. You establish a circle and going outside of it seems so foreign some times.
We are the rare few who don’t have a long commute to work so we literally live our lives within a 2-3 mile radius. Schools, park, groceries, restaurants, mall, doctor and dentists...they are all that close to us! With the exception of soccer, we are a stones throw from everything.
I am trying to explore our city as time permits (outside of all the soccer fields stretched across the opposite ends of the city, that is!) and the museum district in Houston is top notch!
I am embarrassed to say that I’ve lived in Houston for 25 years and have never before visited The Health Museum until I got the invitation to participate in one of their exhibits.
Don’t be me! Go visit this beautiful space filled with educational and fascinating exhibits.
